Carlos Pires

I was born in Hartford, Connecticut, to Portuguese-born parents, and graduated from the University of Connecticut before making Massachusetts my home in 2005. As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Massachusetts, I’ve built a career grounded in integrity and stewardship — 15 years in auditing followed by 15 years in a range of accounting and finance roles.

That professional discipline now serves a deeper purpose. I volunteer at my local food pantry and, more recently, with Project Forgotten Child, a charitable work supporting the youth of Angola and Mozambique. I find genuine joy in knowing that this work — and the mission-driven organizations behind it — makes a difference in the lives of many.

Outside of service, I’m an avid traveler and outdoors enthusiast who treasures exploring America’s National Parks, and a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Boston Bruins.
